Given the somewhat mixed reviews of this place, I have to say I have been three times in the past six months and have found nothing but delightful service and fantastic food.What sets the food apart is the clean, focussed sauces and variety of tastes.This is nothing like a typical " Indian " restaurant with muddy, tomato based curry. No, it is not cheap but the freshness of the dishes, including whole fish is outstanding.
I have been to this restaurant twice and have also cooked extensively from their cookbook. Love the food and the atmosphere of the restaurant - prefer sitting upstairs to downstairs.

Superb Sri Lankan food at this borough market restaurant. We sat at the counter and watched the chefs expertly produce great food. I would highly recommend the food here, especially as an alternative to Indian food. I think this was better throat Indian restaurants.
