a graceful bar & restaurant in peak viewing position on the Southbank, with endless views of the river and the Embankment Art Deco buildings. Early evening is best for optimal viewing as dusk falls. Eh, this a hard one to right, because this is one of my favourite spaces. I love the South Bank, the architecture, the art and culture that it's filled with and the 50s post-war optimism that it represents. I've been coming here for literally decades. Beautiful location. I came here with my parents before my graduation and we were looked after with real care throughout. Our server Chetan constantly kept our water glasses full and was always attentive and kind. The staff gave me a desert which said ‘congratulations’ to celebrate my special day. I’d highly recommend Skylon.
