We came in after an insane rush of tourists. Took a bit for the staff to recover, but they were great. Food was good as part of the Green King series of pubs. Upstairs staff went the extra mile to make it a good evening with an old friend. They laughed at bad jokes and joined in. Beware the hordes of tourists, but a good place.
Nicely located pub in Victoria area, open on Sundays, good atmosphere, variety of drought beers, Victorian decoration......and that's all.Extremely slow service, non moticated servers, never answered questions, etc.....More than 1 hour for getting a normal nachos dish with a normal standard hamburger. Highly recommend the house 'Albert' for a beer (since immediately served at payment) but if you are looking for eating there.....pass you way unless you are ready for a looooong...read full review

The real London pub: a large selection of draft beers and typical pub dishes. As we didn't know how it worked, a waiter explained to us that you can sit wherever you want and that you have to order at the bar. The service was fast, the dishes good and the waitress took care of us. As for the price: absolutely correct.
