Very excellent pub and pizza restaurant. Dog friendly. The waiter was friendly and helpful and made sure that we were attended to all night. The pizza selection is very good with some interesting topping selections that also cater well to vegetarian and vegan tastes. The bar had a good selection of ales and beers, some very nice wine and a formidable whisky collection. Tables are well spaced so that you don't feel overcrowded and the atmosphere is relaxed but not overly noisy....read full review
My favourite Sydenham pub, hands down.Brilliant cosy atmosphere and attentive service.Lots of seating, huge garden.The food is always really good - Fast, fresh and tasty. A few daily offers to take advantage of too.Drinks are reasonable prices.Can't recommend enough.
So surprised by some of the reviews here. I am very fussy and we love The Dolphin! Come here very often. Really great pizza, reasonably priced and have always found the manager and staff for be super friendly and accommodating. As an example, I came with my baby the other day who was asleep - the manager specifically opened a side gate for me so I didn't have to wake her up walking through the main resto. It's quieter midweek but I'd say most places are and still busy. Lovely...read full review
