Visited tonight at had the Set Festive Dinner. Wow! excellent value, fantastic food and service. Had the Duck liver parfait, Westcombe Cheddar tartlet. We both then had Turkey Wellington. Desserts Christmas Pudding, Custard tart. Coffee to follow. The Christmas decorations are absolutely fantastic
Whilst the food was excellent the service was below standard. Wine pairings were not explained and arrived after the relevant course had been delivered. The staff are friendly but simply lack the necessary skills to support fine dining. Such a pity! I expected so much more!
