I was told about The Rising Sun by my neighbour, we had always seen it but never thought to pop in. Today we bit the bullet and thought "why not?!" and we are SO glad we did.I had the house bread and garlic green beans (out of this world flavour!)My husband had a pasta dish which he said was 10/10!Staff are really attentive but not too overbearing and I really really cannot wait to be back! I'll get the tiramisu next time!
We had a lovely lunch today. We had 2 sunday roasts (1 beef and 1 lamb) and also pasta and risotto dishes, all were delicious. The staff were attentive and the dining rooms are really pretty, we were in the garden room which was lovely.Parking: Not many spaces so it may be tricky during busy times.

Lovely family run restaurant with amazing food and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. All the staff were super friendly and the owner, Matty, made us feel like we had come to dine in his home. Highly recommend it and I’ll definitely be going back!
