Arrived here by a happy accident (went to the wrong White Swan!) and so glad we did! Seated immediately without a proper reservation, tended to by a dazzling and attentive staff (Sarah and Jay were rated "best wait staff ever" by both my picky husband and picky 9-year-old) and served an amazing meal for 4 including 2 kids under 12. Nice pub with good service but their "famous" pies weren't up to much. The crust was like concrete. Also, £4 for a piece of limp broccoli and a single carrot is just a rip off. I'd go back but just for a drink.

On a Saturday afternoon in Covent Garden we were looking for a pub where we did not have to wait for ten minutes to get a drink. This was the third we went into and the first that had enough competent bar staff. I feel sorry for the others - there is a big shortage of bar staff, but The White Swan was clearly well run. A good range of beers (it's a Nicholson's pub).
