This place has been open a few years so it wasn't hard to get a booking. No sign of wear and tear though. The vast space is dripping with gilt and gleaming glass. It’s fitted out with wood panelling, frosted lights and oversize posters of La Belle Epoque, just in case you forget the theme. It’s typical brasserie fare, very well executed. Located a couple of hundred meter of the Piccadilly tube stop Regent Street entrance. Entrance on the entrance level Floor is of a small French wine bar, but two flights down and it’s very much a different scene with art deco interior, massive chandelier and jazz singers for the afternoon. As a great fan of French brasseries,like George’s in Lyon ,I was very excited about the experience ahead. The food did not disappoint: very fresh, very French.The Art Deco decoration is beautiful and classy.
