The butter chicken melted in your mouth. The biryani not only looked impressive, but was the best biryani I have had . The garlic naan bread was also a star player , crispy and not doughy .The service was friendly and attentive . We will definitely be going back and certainly will be ordering for delivery .

Every dish was an exploration of Indian spices, used to work together, to enhance the taste of very fresh ingredients. Very light biryani, Gobi 65 becoming a new favourite, lamb shank so tender it melted in the mouth.
We received a very warm welcome, all staff were highly professional, very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. It was a joy.
This may have been our first time eating in Moksha, but it will not be our last. 5*, highly recommended. Thank you.

The food is excellent, and the menu has a good range and is diverse. Special thanks go to Gosia, the head chef and manager, for offering good advice and explaining the menu better. Pity many other pubs are not so forthcoming, welcoming, and innovative. Also, the man at the bar with short blondie hair was great. Sorry, I did not get his name. Will definitely visit again.

The venue was perfect, we had a funk band that came to play; we ordered pizzas and charcuterie boards which kept coming out through the evening and sole use of the bar outside in the heated covered area. We had a 3 course meal (Silver option) and it was amazing and all our guests had wonderful compliments and we knew we had definitely made the right decision. All the staff are very friendly and Ryan who made sure our day went perfectly well went above and beyond.
We have many memories at this pub but definitely our wedding day is one to remember.

My family ran one of the busiest fish bar around London many decades back so I know a thing or two about fish and chip, let me start by value.. excellent portions and great prices, everything is fried fresh, (don't know how they make any profit at today's energy prices). The batter was just perfect..thin and crisp, the fish cooked just right, chips were crisp and freshly fried. But above all you are served by the nicest, kindest and generous people. I must add that I visited this place after all other takeaways were shutting, their offerings if any consisted of leftover scraps, the lady in Lucky fish bar heated up the oil, battered the fish and throw in some fresh chips JUST for me, this is surely unheard of these days.

Jjajangmien was alright. I had been starving of Korean-Chinese dishes, especially this one, and it satisfied me enough. I had jjajangmien last year summer at Korea and that place was much better, but for a place in the UK, not bad.
Jjambbong was much better, it was appropriately spicy with the hot seafood broth done good. Still, wouldn't call it an outstanding one, but nevertheless satisfying.
쇠고기부추잡채 with 꽃빵 was a good appetizer. It had been ages since I had this kind of dish and it was much better than I anticipated. The chives were cooked and evenly coated with the beef's sauce synergizing well. The steamed buns accompanied the beef and chives well, and they were indeed steaming when served. A recommendable side dish.
깐풍기 was okay, better than the 탕수육 which felt a little too chewy. Both were very average.
Overall, a moderately good Korean-Chinese restaurant, it does its job in being somewhat authentic. The major issue I would mention are the portions compared to the prices. I have lived in the UK in the past and visited this place quite regularly with my family, frankly, the taste has degraded a little with the portions while prices rose. Of course inflation has happend since then, but I still consider the prices a little too excessive. Additionally, I recommend reserving a seat before eating at dinner times as we were unfortunately served at a cramped seat.
If you're Korean living in the UK missing 중식, yeah this place is worth a visit. But if you are just a visiting Korean craving it, I would say it wouldn't be the best choice. For new comers, this place would be a good introduction, but definitely not the best it can get.
Somewhat recommend.

Outside seating area or opposite the bar is the old and bold New Maldeners. Good people, and great to hear South London accents.
The front part of the pub where I sometimes sit used to be the front office when it was the Police station.

I’ve tried several Chinese takeaways across New Malden, including some of the more well-known spots along the High Street, but this one is by far the best. The food is consistently fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with care.
The crispy aromatic duck was perfectly cooked with tender meat and warm, soft pancakes. The salt and pepper squid was crisp and not greasy, and the kung pao chicken had a great balance of spice and sweetness. Even the egg fried rice and tofu with mushrooms stood out for their quality.
Other takeaways in the area often feel rushed or too oily, but here everything tastes balanced and thoughtfully prepared. Service is efficient, portions are generous, and the prices are very fair.
This has quickly become my go-to. Highly recommended if you’re after proper Chinese food done right in New Malden.

I am please to say I was not disappointed. the food was excellent . It arrived hot and was very tasty. It was not oily or greasy. The taste was very good. Vicky who worked there was extremely helpful in suggesting what dishes to order. I will defiantly be ordering from there again and so will the rest of my family.

The food here is fantastic — fresh, authentic, and bursting with flavour. The Karaage sharing platter, Fried Tofu, and Butadon (pickles included) all transported me straight back to Japan. Easily the highlight of the visit.
The setting, with booths and sake bottles lining the walls, really captures the Izakaya feel.
The downside was the service.
We had a 17:00 reservation, but the restaurant wasn’t ready, and staff felt indifferent throughout and we found out after the fact that the drink selection was a little limited.
Having worked in hospitality, I know how much attentive service can elevate a meal, and that was missing here.
That said, the food alone makes it worth visiting again. If the service catches up to the kitchen, Nori could be truly outstanding.

I ordered and all was fine as I stepped out I dropped my coffee before even having a single sip. Now bear in mind my days hasn’t been great, I took myself back inside to reorder, the two amazing staff noticed I was back ( young gentleman and lady named Kej). They were absolutely beautiful in every way. I was shaking and really upset, they ensured I was calm and remade me a drink. Zero fuss they were both happy to align with me and help me relax before leave. In fact Kej politely said let’s use a safety cover so that I had no spillage. I am so grateful I visited this branch and not another. They were both so helpful, calm and caring. Thank you to both so very much.

All the dishes are freshly made and displayed with clear ingredient and allergen notes, which is very helpful. The restaurant is easily accessible, and the decor adds to the inviting atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. If you’re wondering about parking, you can park at Curry’s car park, which is just a 2-minute walk away. Highly recommend!

24 Coombe Rd, New MaldenFood was really nice. The chicken was really crispy and the spicey chilli sauce was especially phenomenal. I came alone and sat at the bar, and my server was honestly really chill and welcoming. Almost wish I'd got his name to say thanks.

282 Burlington Rd, New MaldenFriendly staff, food came fast and is super tasty. The only caveat is that they don’t take card but I managed to wire the funds through quickly. Highly recommended!

1 Coombe Rd, New MaldenIf you’re in a rush and need a quick, affordable meal, Ohaio is a great choice. It’s right next to the train station, which makes it really convenient. I had the salmon teriyaki with rice and salad, and it came with complimentary spring rolls and miso soup—all for under £10. The food was simple, tasty, and served fast. Not sure why there aren’t more reviews—this place definitely deserves more attention.
