It 's a Wetherspoons pub, so traditional, not fancy. But...great prices on a range of beers, no annoying music, fast wifi, free coffee and tea refills after the first one, and great value steaks (and selected other meals - you do need to know what you are ordering though). A must visit pub even if it's just to look at the interior, the rest you'll be familiar with at it's a wetherspoons. A short walk from the train station, inexpensive beers and food.

I think 3 stars sums it up. It's ok. There is no positive atmosphere to speak of, but the beer is cheap. It doesn't have the huge student gatherings that the Kingston one gets. Staff were good.
