Food was excellent, although unfortunately our meals took a long time to arrive. Plus, when we ordered dessert we were told they couldn't provide that within a decent amount of time and because they didn't want us waiting up to an hour, they just said they couldn't serve us desserts. And no after dinner drinks either were offered. Not sure why they were so busy (and we'd booked) as didn't feel overly full. Would I return? By far one of our favourite pubs in Twickenham. Recently their new chef is producing excellent meals - highly recommend the beef and vegan burgers.. and the house seasoned chips are utterly amazing. Seriously good food.The service is always friendly and attentive (with Karim being an absolute highlight.. he is chatty, welcoming and kind. He loves our dog and always gives her a treat and a pat.. he’s always helpful and friendly). And did I mention the amazing view of the river?!?!...read full review

So we made the trip from Brighton to The Barmy Arms to see our good friends Dec and John. Dec has recently taken over as GM here and as we expected he has worked his magic on this pub! It has a lovely cosy feel inside with an amazing outdoor area right by the river.We had a wonderful roast dinner and the staff were so friendly!If you are local to this pub or just visiting you must pop in for a drink or some food! You won't regret it.
