I called last minute for availability for a table of ten and the woman on the phone worked hard to fit my family in. Our table was lovely, slightly tucked away so it felt personal, and the pub had lots of similar nooks and spaces, and isn’t too loud, perfect for conversations with loved ones over good food and drink. I visited The Jobbers Rest on 19 January, and as always the food and service was amazing. The main reason for leaving a review is to say a huge thank you for the manager who found space to squeeze me in a very busy restaurant when I had, in error, booked a 17:15 table for four, when I meant to book a 19:15 table.
