Always a fantastic place to get fish & chips whilst in Altrincham. One of the few original fish & chip shops in the area always serving freshly cooked fish along with a wide variety of pies, chicken nuggets and accompaniments.
We popped in to get a snack between bars, the service was fast even though there was a bit of a queue. We had a regular portion, plus a pie and curry sauce amounting to £6. Which I think is a bargain to be honest! The chips were lovely and fresh, crispy with lots of salt and vinegar. The pie was a bit chewy but it was still nice. Standard of fish and chips was excellent tonight. We used to get our fish and chips from the good catch in Altrincham but that has disappointed last 3 times we have been. Although this was a little more expensive the difference in quality of the food was very noticeable. Would definitely recommend.
