Arrived at gardeners arms & was greeted & shown to our table by Jimmy who took our order& promptly brought our drinks & food. We had ordered sirloin steak & trimmings. The steak was excellent, cooked perfectly & tender. Chips were chunky & very good. There were quite a lot of people dining so I would assume they thought the food was good also. All in all excellent food & service. Thanks Jimmy & staff for a very nice meal.

First of all I didn't know it was a dog friendly restaurant. So if you don't want dog hairs flying in your food I wouldn't recommend going here. Honestly it was all a bit too much, they had a man on guitar with a woman singing which was nice but mixed in with kids throwing balloons at people while they are eating and the dogs running around this small establishment I don't know what was worse. Not only that I had a piece of plastic in my roast .. yep that was just the topping on the cake. Won't be returning.

There were 8 people in our group. Food excellent. Service great.Staff pleasant attentive thank you ladies.Little noisey as we had chosen the evening football was on our mistake.However they did turn the sound off in the section we were dining in so all good. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.Will definitely return.

Fish was so over cooked it was incinated. Plates were cold. When we complained we were offered a free drink which was then added to the bill. The room was cold.

Such a sweet and charming place. Had a family luncheon here. The staff were so lovely and kind, the food was tasty and fresh. And the decor was beautiful, loads of windows and seating. A great spot!
Been in here a few times and the food is lovely. The chips are huge and ridiculously tasty, and their soup of the day is always perfect. The staff are really nice and approachable, and the times that we have been in during the early afternoon on a weekday have been really quiet, only a handful of people about inside which is perfect for myself as I don’t like crowds and loud noises!
