We had a fantastic 3 course christmas meal last night (23rd dec). The parsnip soup was one of the best soups ive ever tasted, the turkey dinner was excellent and the cheeseboard could have served all 3 of us but was only supposed to be for 1. Great quality, great portions, fabulous service, well done Moss
Another "Down memory lane" pub visit with Flic. Came here a few times back in 1974 - 75 when I lived locally and maybe once about 30 years ago. A J.W. Lees pub with excellent range of their real ales. Had a pint of their autumnal bitter "Bramble". Very good. Great value pub. Beer garden and car parks. Very pleasant visit.Parking: Parking to both sides of the pub.

It was just a few friends leaving work, so I went for lunch. I can't comment on the atmosphere no one was in at the time, but it was good as there were a few of us, and we had a giggle. The staff were friendly and it was nice pub food.
