I visted here today (Friday 12th Jan) having been here before on numerous occasions. As Spoons go, this place can be hit & miss, particularly where real ale is concerned. Personally they have too many generic types for me & not enough locally sourced brews. That said, those on offer are usually of good condition. it was Christmas eve and 8 of us went for brunch before we went to cinema 3 of us had the full breakfast which was ok but barely warm the refill coffee and tea good value the other food was ok but again barely

The mixed grill was terrible, I've never had so much grizzle and fat in my whole experience in there. I understand its discounted slighly but that qas very poor. Didnt want to say anything on this occasion.
