Not normally a chippy fan as I don’t really like chips ? however their fish is consistently excellent and the rag puddings are spot on.Anybody rating it one star for portion size needs to take a long hard look in the mirror (if they can find one big enough ?).
I liked the English curry sauce but my main problem is I live seconds away and I can never get any food as its always closed and open at stupid times so I can never catch it I have only been once and everyday now for 2 weeks straight I've tried to catch it open and it never is.

Such a shame that this seems to have gone downhill recently under new ownership. Long wait, staff didn't seem to know what they were doing and got the order wrong, mushy peas tasteless and tough, a supposedly large portion of chips was anything but, asked for a battered sausage but got a measly 10cm long un-battered sausage, now only accepts cash rather than cards, fish was alright but that was the only good thing. Won't be returning in a hurry ?
