Had a catch up with friends on a Thursday evening. This was my first time at The Hollins Bush after years of driving past. There was ample parking to the rear of the pub accessed via the nearby flats residential car park. It is a really lovely little pub with a cosy atmosphere. Had supper here in April 2019. Nice enough JW Lees pub, much better than it used to be and busy in the evenings which is a good sign. Food was good enough for the nice, I had a spicy veg curry which was reasonable. Beer garden at the rear and car park too, but mostly it's friendly locals. Guess they shift more food early evening as it was hard getting served and there was less focus on the beer. A good local hostelry. Pleasant staff and comfortable surroundings. The food is good home cooked fayre. Dog friendly. A nice place to meet and chat. Good atmosphere. Would go again.
