I like that the staff are really friendly and know your name. I always feel welcome, they have a good variety of drinks, lots of ales and gins. Nice pool table, plenty of rooms to choose and I feel comfortable in any of the rooms.
First return since pre COVID. The premises have been impressively extended which is a really positive move. Excellent service and product range. Together with my cycling chum we enjoyed tea and coffee outside in the we'll set out picnic table area with a couple of slices of delicious apricot tea bread. Made on the premises and tasty we were delighted to find the tea bread loaves also in sake in the farm shopSo we both bought one to take home. We will be back regularly.

A nice enough place, and nice to see that they have Heineken 0.0 on draught (only the second place so far) albeit the Fosters glass was offensive even if I don’t drink lolSecond time of visiting now, and have a higher opinion of the place. Quite peaceful on a Monday evening, and being served Heineken 0.0 in a Heineken glass is way less offensive than being served it in a Fosters glass as whilst I don’t drink… I still don’t want to be associated with piss ?
