Nice rustic pub serving mainly craft beers. Nice atmosphere. Reasonably priced. Food ok. Good service. Great for groups as they have some long tables perfect for after work drinks or meeting mates.
Outstanding, if pricey, flagship of the brilliant Northern Monk brewery. The beers can be VERY expensive, but that goes with craft beer sometimes. They do usually have a house special on the board at £3.50 pint. The food has changed a couple of times over the year - top marks to whoever selects them though because all top class.Kid-friendliness: It's a pub.
