Went back to my old local for a few drinks and a Sunday Roast. The food was lovely and very good portion sizes. Proper hearty homemade food!! Could not recommend enough. The service was prompt and very friendly . We will be back again very soon and might even squeeze in one of very tempting desserts. Thanks guys!!
My first visit to this place. Now don’t get me wrong but I don’t think I’m out of place to suggest Tyldesley is hardly a gastronomic centre. Indeed, in years gone by it’s more the type of place where you’d expect a fight on an evening. And this place looks like the type of venue where you might have had this in yesteryear. Booked a table for two on a Thursday night. Had the most tasty tender of steaks with a peppers, onion rings and proper chips. Really great service and some good ales served at the quaint little bar. Cheery atmosphere, reminded me of how great pubs were in the 80’s. Will definitely be back again
