This chippy was very good. I’ve not had proper traditional fish and chips for ages and just fancied it after work. The chippy was really busy, the staff were friendly. Some reviews say otherwise but they were all nice and friendly to me. I didn’t realise how expensive fish and chips had become but I guess it’s the same everywhere. Called in last week with a colleague from Manchester, parking a bit tight but managed it Delicious pie, chips, peas served with dandelion and burdock pop, takes me back to my childhood. Spotless eating area, very friendly staff The place was busy and this speaks volumes Well worth a trip you won’t be disappointed

We’d had takeaway before and decided to eat in late afternoon before the rush. Really enjoyed fish (haddock we think) and chips with mushy peas, cuppa and a decent latte from a machine. Place was quite busy and spotlessly clean
