From beginning to end, the experience was absolutely fantastic. Having become accustomed to haphazard service over the years, it was really a breath of fresh air to find somewhere that does customer service properly. Attentive, friendly staff serving some of the best food in the area. We had a great night and will be returning soon!
Pleasant environment, nice and smiley staff, but, and it's a big but! Amazing food, and really good prices. We had a huge chicken burger, salad, coleslaw, 3 half's of bitter shandy, braised steak, mash peas and gravy, and I finished off with apple and peach crumble with custard, total cost £27. Really good food, nice chilled atmosphere in there on a Sunday, but it does get busy mid afternoon so definitely book if eating in the restaurant section. If you have dogs you can only eat in the regular pub area, which is understandable, so you can't book tables there it's just 1st come basis. We're happy we found this place and plan to go again for sure. Decent views also.
