Lovely ambience and staff very attentive. The Full English was tasty and was most welcome at 7pm on an evening. Can highly recommend the cheeseboard. Would definitely go again and I would recommend.

The family and I went for a New Year's eve meal (2023/24) and to be honest I was expecting the usual Christmas fare thrown at you with abysmal service.....wrong. The pub was very busy (as you'd expect on new years eve) and we had pre booked the table for 7. When we arrived we were seated immediately because they were organised. To keep it simple... Myself and some friends went in for a Christmas meal and the food was incredible. I had an soy glazed ox cheek starter, then the best belly pork main ever, followed by a lovely festive gingerbread martini, it was all delicious! The atmosphere was festive and fun, the xmas decorations that were on display made the evening extra special and the staff were 10/10! Highly recommend
