What a little gem of a place! We stayed here on the 29th December. Beautiful welcome by staff. Shown up to our room which was gorgeous. Before arriving, very helpful, accommodating and nothing was a problem, as we were travelling as a family of 4 from the south of England. So much attention to detail, milk and juice in fridge, coffee machine, lots of towels, complementary drinks at the bar, it is the simple things that made our stay so enjoyable. You must try the haddock arancini starter/small plate in a curry sauce. It's simply delicious, best arancini I've eaten!I also had the steak frites which I was very impressed with. The truffle parmesan fries were lovely. The venue was very busy so we had to wait a while for our drinks but it's a lovely place to wait in. The staff were very warm and friendly too. Ended the meal with a liquor coffee!

Visited early January and so glad we did. I’ve wanted to visit here for a while as it’s always been highly rated. The service was excellent and staff very friendly. The crispy chicken thighs with chicken gravy were simply amazing as was the beef cheeks with marrowbone crumb, worthy of a Michelin Star. My wife’s Steak and Ale pie was a winner too. Please give this place a try.
