Dined here casually in the past but chose the Duckworth Arms for a festive meal with good friends. Pre-ordered and paid a deposit. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and the food was absolutely lovely. In fact it was beyond our expectations for a pub! Especially the sea bass which was delicious. We called in for a quick lunch and noticed that they wee doing a special lunchtime menu. The quality of the food, service and general atmosphere was of a high standard and I had an MPA cask ale which was of a high standard.

Myself and missus thought we'd try something out of town and different for a Sunday. Couldn't rate the food highly enough. We got the sunday sharer and excellent value for money. Came with a selection of meats. Would highly recommend.
