Pubs in Alresford
“A pub full of character, set in an idyllic location with wonderful staff serving excellent food and crafted beer brewed on the premises, a great spot for lunch or dinner!”
“Went here a couple of weeks ago after The Great South Run ...the food was delicious , I had the lamb roast it was bang on. Everyone else had a mixture of things , Fish cakes , Sausage and mash , Carbonarra , Beef roast ? all agreed it was lovely. The staff were very good .Thanks ??”
“Truly my dream pub/restaurant; open, bright dining room, large outdoor patio area and traditional pub garden. Bar room at the front has been tastefully restored and updated, local brews on tap, decent wine, fantastic food and prompt, efficient and really pleasant serving and front of house team. Garden with fresh veg and some fruit, with a couple of outdoor games and covered outdoor pub tables and benches, all sit on the raised 150 yard garden platform above the haha. An infinity garden concept that rises just above the Hampshire countryside with fresh water stream and farm fields. Just excellent and what any city dweller that grew up in the country needs to reset their soul.”
“Our first visit, super friendly staff, quiet Country location, just had a drink in one of the gardens on this occasion but will try the food next time we visit.”
“Came here for a Sunday lunch. Really, very good food and service. The portions were large, well presented, and good quality. Atmosphere was let down a bit by a booking of 30 who were in at the same time. Made it feel more like a canteen. However, I imagine this won't be the case every Sunday. Will definitely be returning. The only issue is if you have mobility problems as I have, you will find access difficult. The car park is gravel that a manual chair won't deal with, and there are a number of steps to the dining area. I noticed that there may be level access from the front of the building. It would be worth a call ahead as it may be possible to enter the building here.”
“Good night out, been 15 years since being in here. Alot quieter than before but still a good night out. Not tried the food but good live Band on.”
“We are from Vancouver Island and recently visited a friend from the past living in Farnham. We spent a glorious September morning walking along the Itchen but then were told we must visit your pub for a post_ walk lunch and beer. We loved the situation and the ambience. Lunch was great as was the service. Thank you for being a memorable part of our visit to the U,K.”
“Nice menu choices, lovely meal, polite accommodating staff. The room though was a little tired (to say the least)”
“Staff and food amazing. But trying to charge £14 to bring out a birthday cake ( was not even going to eat it ) is a joke.! Have checked with other nearby establishment who could not believe that I was expected to pay! Including the Ivy!”
“Always a good vibe and always great staff doing a great job! It is our favourite local, book early for a table if you need it, but very often if they can get you in, they will ?Parking: Broad street, otherwise a 2 minute walk from the station car park.”
