Lovely staff. Great beers. Good pub food. I will be returning with some of my ale drinking friends to sample more fine beers. The porter was probably the best I have ever had. The Goodens Gold was lovely. Initially the IPA seemed a bit sweet but I settled into it after a few mouthfuls. The staff were very good and thanks to Kit for fine service.
My friends and I went here for a Sunday roast and we can’t recommend it enough. Despite it being really busy in the lead up to Christmas, we were served quickly and the food was delicious. Can’t wait to return!

My favourite pub! We visited for my birthday and enjoyed superb food (roast partridge and trout) and the usual delicious, high quality ales. Staff are always helpful and polite and the bars warm and cosy. Thanks everyone!
