Great to be back at The Fox. Nice warm woodburners, tasty and delicious food which arrived in a reasonable time despite being massively busy. Pies were to die for as were the mushrooms yum yum ?. Staff were polite and patient, almost saint like despite having to deal with chronic moaners that were out for free meals. Yes it’s an old pub but it’s a free house. I attended with a group of friends and I am that nightmare customer who needs both gluten free and vegetarian. I rang the pub the week before to see if they could cater and they promised to get some gluten free veggie sausages ahead of time. When we arrived the bar staff were great, friendly, efficient and helpful.
