What an experience! Drink excellent , service excellent and food to die for! Starters, mains and puddings were absolutely gorgeous ! We are so glad that this little gem is on our doorstep . Give the George a try, you will not be disappointed ! We will be back very soon. Thanks to all at the George once again!
First time back here since it reopened. Needs softening. Flowers on tables, take a few out to unclutter. Food good and staff very friendly. Would go back.Need to tidy up outside, didn't look open. Just little things but it would help to get people through the door.Vegetarian options: Plenty of choice and a couple of vegan options.

We went to the George for the first time since the change of owners. We went to celebrate a family birthday. We had a good welcome, good food and drink. There was a band playing and they played 'Happy Birthday' for us. Altogether a very enjoyable evening.
