An OK branch of Spoons, however much of the pizza had already run out at 13:00 on a weekday so I had to retreat to the Angel for my lunch. Only consumed a half pint to tick it off, then walked over the way.
It's a Wetherspoons. Nothing more to say. Sometimes the food arrives hot and sometimes not. Reasonably priced and staff very pleasant. Ideal as a starter pub on a night out on the beer.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a lift to get you up to the bar from the front but no wheelchair access from the parking area.

Not very busy on New Year’s Day.Bar staff clearly bored and having inane conversations with each other.Funniest moment was when the kitchen staff was speaking very loudly on the bar staff’s receiver asking what the vegan burger was.Doesn’t fill you with confidence!It’s clean enough in here but somehow feels grubby. Perhaps it’s the 1970s coloured decor.
