“First time visiting today. Warmly welcomed and shown directly to outer table for 7. Excellent, friendly service from young staff. Sunday roasts all round. Generous portions and all tasted great. One of the better pub roasts I've had. They do a smaller roast which is still a good size. Highly recommended.”

Overall - a positive experience.
The three for £15 range of starters was well received by our party - we can particularly recommend the whitebait.
The main courses were also pleasing in terms of quality and portion size, though prices were not particularly cheap. What was pleasing - however - was the pub's effort to mix pub classics with gastropub options. Something for everyone, I feel.
The service was friendly and the atmosphere was jovial.”

“Popped in this evening for some food before heading to our accommodation, the place feels kinda like a hidden gem, almost like it's full of locals that know everyone else and you stumbled across their secret watering hole ? food was incredible would definitely visit again in the future ?”

“We visited the pub for a Sunday roast and weren’t disappointed! It was lovely the roast beef was thickly sliced and fabulous yorkshires ! My husband had the pork with crackling and said it was delicious. It was very reasonably priced as well for the portion size . We will definitely visit again Thankyou !”

“This is a hidden gem, Angie behind the bar was outstanding very welcoming ,friendly and helpful. The choice of drinks are endless.
The front of house staff are nice too !
A must see as front the road it looks nothing, inside has great decor with a very cosy vibe .”
