I had never been to this pub before, but had been recommended. What a pleasant surprise – so much more from what you want from a pub! Great atmosphere as soon as you walk in, friendly, helpful, bar staff, good menu choice and specials, really nice generous portions with very attentive staff. My Moules were the best in ages! Lovely staff, very attentive with good attention to detail. The food was excellent, and my ribeye was cooked perfectly, but I especially enjoyed the eggnogg brulee. All of this, plus the welcoming atmosphere, made for a lovely evening.
