Lovely place, not too loud or busy, it's about what you would expect from a pub. Bar staff are friendly and quick to serve - no faffing about - and they are friendly with dogs. Toilets are clean are hygenic, at least from what I saw on the mens side of things. The garden outside is decently sized, and features a little fishpond, to help entertain children.Overall good experience and family friendly.
They put on a great do for my father's wake. Good buffet, and plenty of it. There is a lovely fire in the room and plenty of seating as well as standing areas. Staff were good and very helpful. Thank you.

I used to drink here, back in the early 80s. Just been here for a wake, the food buffet looked good. Didn't try anything, staff were pleasant and very helpful, decor was not too impressive. I just miss the old pub at heart. I guess times change and move on. Otherwise nice place.
