Three of us had a lovely meal here sat out in one of their Eco pods, which has an electric heater overhead to keep you warm.Service was really good: attentive, well paced and friendly. They were hosting a retirement party which started while we were there and inside the pub was full! Even this didn’t affect the service we received!The car park was virtually empty when we arrived at 12:30 on a half term weekday, but was overflowing when we left, due to the party. We visited twice in the same week, lovely country pub with great amount of seating areas inside and put for all weather, lovely family area for kids with play park and food was amazing! Good selection of ales. Will definitely be

Took my 87 yr old Mum here for birthday lunch. Staff couldn’t have been nicer. No problem for her to have the child’s portion and they even let her have a lolly despite not finishing her dinner! Our meals were good too, v generous portions. Good beer as well. Lovely birthday for Mum ?
