We go to the Anglesey Hotel for the occasional drink. On the 22 December it was my daughters birthday. 7 of us and food was absolutely brilliant. Service is as always friendly and efficient. as always the staff go out on a limb for you. The grandkids didn't like starters so they had garlic bread.,which they love.I love this hotel , the only problem is parking, but then this is the same all over. Met friends for lunch here and stayed overnight. Fabulous views, great for walks . Very good service, lovely food, good bar. Low key & unpretentious. Crisp & clean bedlinen. ?

A great place to meet for a beer and a walk to Gilkicker. Lunchtime toastie was lovely and always an interesting pint to try.If you can't get to Bristol to see their famous crescent this Gosport equivalent is fun to see.
