Peppones Street Food
Colt Hill, Odiham, HookThe food was so amazing , i highly recommend I had jalof rice and it was the best thing i have ever had, the man that was there he was so friendly and kind he really made the experience good it is the best street food place i have ever gone to, he really goes above and beyond to make you happy. Not long to wait and also great laughs and great atmosphere. I can’t wait to come back to try more.

The Longbridge Mill
Sherfield on Loddon, HookWe had the trio roast which was really tasty and well cooked and definitely not dry like pub roasts can be. Ollie served us and was very friendly, attentive and couldn’t be more helpful if he tried. The pub was nice and busy but the temperature was too hot and could do with some fans dotted around.

The Derby Inn
The Derby Inn, Bartley Heath, HookThis is my hideaway PUB. It's in an inconvenient location if you don't have a car, but this is my favorite PUB and I always stop by when I'm passing by. You can enjoy delicious food in a calm atmosphere without the clutter of Central London.

There was only 8 tables eating alot of them had food so a bit of a weird one. Maybe under staffed but the staff werent very welcoming which was a shame.

Manager friendly and accommodating to request for off menu cheese and pickle sandwich a classic pub favourite as a vegetarian. Delighted they sell the drink Coke now and no longer Pepsi. Waitress really friendly and good at her job, which was great.
It would be nice to find a pub selling a vegetarian burger so we could all eat burgers as my family ate an adult and child's menu one, both fresh and good. Vegetarian menu slim. Bread in sandwiches not bad but even better if not frozen fresh bread and completely fresh.

Wild Carrot
Dogmersfield Park, Chalky Ln, HookWe are quite local to this hotel and it's a great go-to place for a great experience. The hotel has been decorated for Xmas beautifully and no expense has been spared. We had drinks in the bar, then went to the main restaurant. The service, wine and our meal was amazing and we have no complaints. I actually asked to speak to the restaurant manager as our server, Alex provided great service, conversation and additional treats. Cannot fault anything. I will agree with other reviews that there were a lot of children in the restaurant but not sure how this would distract from an amazing experience and warrant a poor overall score. Most children were well behaved and it makes the hotel a great place to be and a great atmosphere. In fairness, one would expect lots of children this close to Christmas. Please keep up the good work.

Staff were welcoming & cheerful.. from the moment we entered ( about 11-50 am on a Saturday). Lunch/food was really good,, possibly too complicated for an early lunch/snack.. ( all 3 of us..had food left over..to much salad ect,, similar to size of bread baguettes,,). Also wondered why a simple Cheese on Toast..need French fries with it ??...Its a lovely pub..with lovely staff.. Could do with a simpler menu,, more basic at midday..

Food was fresh, full of flavour, and clearly cooked with care. Portions were generous and everything came out hot and well presented. You can tell the kitchen knows what they are doing.
Service stood out. Staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The owner is a genuinely nice person, takes time to speak to customers, and makes sure everything is right. That personal touch makes a big difference.
The place has a relaxed atmosphere and feels comfortable for both family meals and casual evenings out.
You get good value for money, solid quality food, and great service. We will definitely be going back. Highly recommend.

The Anchor Inn
Northwarnborough Street, HookI am very grateful to the staff at this bar. My car blew out around here at night and all tire shops are closed. My English is poor and I can't communicate on the phone. The staff at this bar helped me book a hotel on the phone and wrote me the exact location of my flat tire in case I couldn't find it the next day. At the same time, she left her phone number, and if anything happens, I can contact her again! There was another lady in the bar who drove us to the hotel. They are so enthusiastic and helpful. I am really grateful for what they have done for me!

Today my latte has a swan on the top. Also, newly opened is a garden seating area. This is away from the main road, which is nice.

I quite often meet in here on a work basis. The team are always friendly and helpful.
It can get very busy at times with other local groups meeting up as its part of the community centre but it does clear quickly again. There is outdoor seating and dog friendly too. ?

Whether you’re staying for a lovely meal from the kitchen team enjoyed alongside a couple of pints… or staying for a reclusive weekend away from normality; this pub is amazing for either. The food is absolutely delicious, and the rooms give off such a warm, homely comforting vibe. it’s a 10/10 from me, I look forward to many future visits. The hour wait in peak time and queue out the door and around the corner are an indicator everything is cooked fresh and to a high standard. The portion sizes are exceptional and such good value for money.Would suggest ordering via their website or phone and collecting at the given time. Highly recommend and we will be back. Thank you

White Hart Hotel, London Rd, HookFriendly staff on reception. Lovely big room, sparkling clean and lovely towels provided and large TV. Only downside was no Aircon or fan. Otherwise it was a great hotel with some lovely original features.
