The Street, HookReal good venue, with friendly staff and a great menu. Rather than have main courses we shared the pigs in blankets and the warm brie & bread dishes from the starter menu and had a side of chips. Both were a nice size for lunch and we're delicious.

The Mill House
North Warnborough, HookWe went here for Sunday lunch. Food was very nice and actually a bit too much for most of us. Service was very good but the salient feature of this place has to be the mill house itself. Sadly, the mill is not working to produce electricity, but it is displayed nicely through a glass wall as is flowing water from the river. On top of that, the building has various rooms, one of which is galleried and with a superb, tall bay window that allowed in plenty of light. There are also a few footpaths nearby to walk off lunch. We'll definitely be returning.
