Booked Sunday lunch . Liked it nice friendly service and beer was good. Whilst the roast beef was tasty we would have welcomed more vegetables the portion for two was small. The wine was on the expensive side. Overall ok but room for improvement on the experience.Food & drinks: Nice Ringwood ales.
The East End Arms has recently poached a very talented young chef from a gastropub down on the south coast. He has transformed the menu. We went for lunch last week and it was pure magic. With a fresh pint of tasty local ale in hand, we opted for the Welsh rarebit, the lamb’s sweetbreads, and the ham hock & chicken pie. All delicious. Ever since buying a house in Lymington almost a year ago I've been looking forward to an evening at the east end arms. I went tonight and it not only met but surpassed expectations. Principally, because we were all (esp. my 10 yr old daughter and her friend) so beautifully looked after by Daisy. We'll definitely be returning and cannot recommend highly enough.
