Great hotel to stay in center of Romsey, dating all the way to 15th century, interior is well perserved in parts to reflect feeling of old times. All staff is extta friendly and helpfull. Ambient is unique to experience, rooms cosy and tidy, food served in restorant tasty and fresh. On the ground fllor there is coffee and tea place in retro style of the old. Liked all very much if i come close to this part of country will definetly stay here again.
I had my wedding here last month and couldn't of wished of anything else.We stayed the night before in a deluxe double room and couldn't get over how big the room was it was beautiful and spotless, I really liked the little extras such as chocolates in there.Our day it's self ran so smoothly the staff was so helpful, the food was amazing and came out so efficiently, all our guests were commenting on how beautiful the venue was, we only had minor decorations as the stables it's...read full review

Have never stayed here as we are local but always seems busy with guests. I meet a friend for drinks most weeks, they have a good hot drinks menu and recently have re introduced some mocktails and the drinks menu now has non and low alcohol section. Only down side is you often have to wait to get served at the bar as no one around to serve.
