“A wonderfully relaxed country pub serving excellent food.
We started with nachos, nicely pepped up with freshly cut jalapeños and greens, plus generous helpings of guacamole, sour cream and salsa.
For mains we had pan-fried ox liver with rosemary mash and the Hampshire burger.
I loved that everything arrived fresh and piping hot — plates included.
We’ll definitely be back.”

“Our first visit to Chilworth Arms this evening - the roasts were delicious (good size portions and everything was nicely cooked and presented) and we received very friendly and efficient service from Cassidy and the team.

“One night stay and dinner. Bustling bar, restaurant and garden on a Friday evening. The team at dinner were attentive and friendly, particularly Simon (who found me some toothpaste!) and Wendy (who was still brilliant at breakfast the next morning). The room was great - all the facilities you’d expect and spotlessly clean. I was worried about the proximity to the terrace, but I guess everyone moved inside relatively early. A perfect village option for a good meal and accommodation and an easy walk from Exton for those on the South Downs Way.”

“Visited today for my birthday lunch. Very quiet here but a nice gastro pub with excellent food, good portions and a friendly barmaid. Service was very good and the meal deal was great value for money. Nice pub with clean toilets and good garden seating, with a climbing frame for your young children. Will be visiting again soon.”

Food and Service was excellent and had a nice twist with an Italian menu full of tasty dishes that had great aroma and taste to the palate , along with their standard fare on the menu . All dishes well presented and delivered either excellent service throughout the meal”
