Lovely place, always busy, most localish places can't contend with the quality of food, prices and service.Dietary restrictions: The chef always finds something to cater for my non dairy and gluten needs, and it feels like its their pleasure to do it ! Brilliant ?
We enjoyed our lunch at the Shoe. The food was excellent.Initially the service was slow until more staff arrived.Although there is an outer conservatory, the room still feels a little cramped but much better than it used to be.We hope to return!

Very nice country pup in a beautiful location. Has a nice, friendly, rural character but without feeling pretentious. More interesting menu than is sometimes the case with rural pubs, and included some imaginative vegan options. Friendly, helpful and efficient service.
