What an incredible cozy pub! We were so so pleasantly surprised coming across this gem.The chef has nailed the menu here, offering the classic favorites but in addition to this an incredible offering of mini plates of buttermilk chicken, Wontons, boa buns, beef chilli and more. Excellent food, outstanding service & friendly locals. We’d been out walking which gave need of a hearty lunch & a warm fire. That’s exactly what we got & we didn’t want to leave! Ross who served us was the perfect host. It’s one of the best places I’ve been to in a long while.

Lovely family run village pub serving good food. Inviting wood burners on a cold winters day. Great find for a mid week stopParking: Parking to rear of pub. OK for cars but bit too tight for larger vehicles (camper van). Lay-by just down road suitable.
