I swung by The Bull for lunch today, and let me tell you, that braised featherblade was off the charts! Cooked in local ale, it was like a flavor explosion in my mouth. The creamy mash was so smooth, I could eat it by the spoonful, and the broccoli added a healthy touch. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service top-notch. The owners have turned this once bedraggled local dive in to a bustling neighbourhood pub that serves a good range of beers, has lovely food, really excellent staff, a good outside area, showing all major sporting events, kid and dog friendly and with ample parking. What more could you want?

27/10/23: Hemel Hempstead Weekend: visiting friends John & Hazel for the weekend, myself Lynette & Bryan enjoyed a lovely relaxed pint here. We'd travelled to Berkhamsted for the afternoon. The weather was cold and crisp outside but the pub was warm and welcoming. Good service, good selection of craft ale.
