We went last night and had the Christmas set menu, which at £35 per head was excellent value. Prawn cocktail and Bom Boms to start, Halibut and Lamb mains, cheese board at £5 supplement, was a great meal. All cooked really well. Service was great. So all in all we will be back. Cheers
Nice atmosphere in the restaurant with attentive and friendly staff, service was also prompt. The restaurant is very noisy making conversation difficult at times. The fish and chips were good, big portions, however the chicken dish didn't have much flavour and there was not much chicken in the meal, a tiny leg and thigh with hardly any meat on them. Desserts were fine, all in all ok for a Friday night out if you don't fancy cooking, but nothing special

Went here for the first time tonight for a birthday dinner. Food was out of this world. The place was quiet (which I appreciate!) there seemed to be acoustic helping cloud things on the ceiling. Also appreciated that! The fish chowder was incredible. Service was perfect ? can’t wait to go again.
