Us four really liked this meal. Service and suggestions from a friendly, smiling, knowledgeable Emmalina helped!\nTomahawk pork, salmon, steak sandwich, 7oz steak was superb. Mushrooms with cheese starter was scrumptious and a selection from plentiful cheeses and biscuits as a dessert marked our lunch as a hit !!! Would we come back here again ….. ohhh yeees we would without a second thought!!!!!

Oriental Express Chinese Food Takeaway Hatfield Welham Green

Overall it's ok. Pork and sweet chilli chicken probably the ones stood out the most in terms of flavour but weren't anything extraordinary. Slightly overpriced for the size of portions.

Turkish Kitchen Hatfield & Jimmy’s Brunch

Auberge du Lac

A fine dining restaurant in a lovely old building with beautiful views overlooking a lake.

Food quality and presentation is excellent; probably the best in the area. Service now is friendly but a lot more relaxed than it was many years ago.

Despite the lovely views, the decor in the restaurant feels really outdated. And the choice of 80s pop background music is quite bizarre.

The lounge area, however, is much more stylish and great for a pre-dinner drink. Drinks outside on a warm summer evening are also a pleasurable experience.

Hyderabad Flavours

I recently had the pleasure of ordering my dinner from Hyderabadi Flavours, and I must say—it was an absolute treat! The food was not only delicious but also very neatly packed, capturing the rich essence of authentic Hyderabadi cuisine.
If you're craving genuine Indian flavours with a Hyderabadi twist, this place is a must-visit.

Carvery At The Woodman Inn

Had a great meal and can really recommend the Woodman Inn. Along with a great atmosphere and really welcoming staff we enjoyed a really relaxing midweek meal for 4. Having had a friendly welcome and time for a relaxing coffee, followed by an excellent freshly cooked meal. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly Manager and his staff. Definitely going back again.

Prezzo Italian Restaurant Hatfield

A great Mother’s Day meal , lovely food and lovely staff who couldn’t be more friendly and great with my little girls requests. A jam packed restaurant but great service.

Tavernaki Brookmans Park

We visited Mitsi Tavernaki yesterday and from the minute we stepped in felt the warmth and appreciated the friendly welcome. Great service and the food was nothing short of amazing. My son is a bit fussy when it comes to souvlakia but said his chicken souvlakia were by far the best he'd had. I tried a piece and he was right. So soft and flavoursome. I had a mixed pork and sheftalia kebab. Big portions and so tasty. The tahini, tzatziki and chips were all delicious too. Added bonus was the traditional Greek music playing. Felt right at home. Only downside is I wish we lived closer but only 30 minutes away and our food was still warm when we got home.
Will be our monthly treat.
Highly recommend.

The Dessert Express

Highly recommend!

Myself and my girlfriend regularly order from The Dessert Express. The sundaes are always full of flavour and packed to the top (our favourites - Oreo and Chocolate Brownie). Plus the cookie doughs are delicious! We have tried many of the flavours.

We will certainly be ordering again again!

Went with family for dinner ordered the sushi chicken katsu gyoza udon green tea and iced tea. The food came quickly and tasted great, would recommend to anyone. Amazing service with no complaints

I took my family here recently which included my elderly father and 3 year old daughter. We received excellent service from our waitress, Anna, she really took great care of us. The food was great as ever, but in particular the staff were really kind and helpful.

Methi Indian Cuisine

Greeted with a huge smile. And we took a while as the menu is quite big but what we chose was excellent. Lovely atmosphere everyone was friendly and seemed to be regulars. Price was very good and we will be back again soon.

First time I made a visit on Saturday, was coming to see the band but came early for food, was a bit of a wait as they was busy but omg the food was so delicious and omg so so much, I even asked for a doggy bag to take some home

The BEST Indian takeaway I promise! I have lived all over London and this is by far the most delicious Indian takeaway there is. Always hot , full of flavour and always on time! This place is our go too if we’re gonna order a takeaway because we know it’s going to be delicious. We have ordered here 12+ times and each time was just as good as the last which is rare.

Spice Field

My experience here in spicefield is really good. The best part is chicken and lamb biryani which me and my partner order all the time. It tastes very fresh and made freshly right when we give the order them. Every weekend we go and visit and it is worth the price.

Had really nice family Sunday roast here....all freshly cooked.....nice staff . You can tell by the food presentation that it's cooked by a chef not just some people working in a kitchen.....some of the group had meals off another menu.....all presented well.....will definitely return again.... second time eating here now..

Hatfield Halal Fried Chicken Shop

This place has raised my expectations with they're wonderful statisfying authentic dishes. At first, I was skeptical in ordering due to some of the negative feedback but I went ahead with a late night takeaway and I found it to be one of the best I ever tried.

ROAST DUCK INN

I had ordered from here first time via ‘Just Eat’ and I wasn’t disappointed. Absolutely delicious hot food, early delivery by 25 minutes … on a Friday!

Big plus for me was the choice of thick and thin noodles for the chow mien. Not many places does thick, my preferred noodles. Will defaintly order again from here and will be my main go to.

A unique taste, reasonable prices. Generous with ingredients and toppings. Polite staff with outstanding customer service. I would recommend to try and see for yourself.

Pizza Hut Delivery

Something changed here in a good way, the pizza was delicious and the staff was very responsive to our special request. One of the better takeaway pizzas in the town.

Good place, very convenient area,easy to get. Price not expensive for lunch buffet just 9.50£, but choice getting limited, that bit disappointing. Good service..

Great to have a 24hr joint in the area, Food was hot and delicious, it does get busy with deliveries and can take a bit of time to get food ready, but would definitely reccomend!

McDonald's

I don’t normally go for McDonald’s but needed something simple for lunch so we visited McDonalds. This branch is very modern compared to how I remember McDonald’s. Ordering is via the terminal or your phone app. You can either collect your food or have it delivered to you. I tried the special (BBQ Ranch Stack) and it was very nice. Would visit again.

The Eight Bells

Quaint traditional English pub in the heart of Old Hatfield. A lovely place to enjoy a drink and soak up the history of the place. Step back in time and bask in times gone by... no sports TV or other distractions. Just good beer, a warm welcome and a jewel in the crown of Old Hatfield.
Well worth a visit for nostalgia and to support local breweries. ?

What a little Gem - popped in at the weekend for a pint - good selection of real ale and unusually a rhubarb cider which at 4% could be considered a session drink. Great landlord who obviously loves his profession and is good at it.

Pizza Go Go

Pizza was good- generous with toppings and not too doughy. Arrived warm. I ordered cookies for dessert- these were still warm when we went to eat them, but they would have been better if they weren't burnt!

Very nice place! The best bar în Hatfield. Adam is one of the barmans, he is an amazing guy.

There is also music and a dj coming on Friday and Saturday night. Good atmosphere, good people, a good place! ???

Loon Che

First went there in the 1970s, but haven't been there for about 20 years, until today. Excellent food and service, with reasonable price. Will definitely go there again.

The Woodman Wildhill

A small local coubtry pub with some walking routes around that you can explore by scanning a QR code. Foods only served from 12-2pm. Very surprised with the prices being so reasonable and they have guest ales and cider. Well worth a visit

The food here is always good. It is consistently good. I find the prices here fair and the service is always good with friendly staff. I really cannot fault this place.

The food here is Delicious, absolutely spectacular food, every dish taste different full of lots of beautiful vegetables. The presentation is amazing, on every delivery I have had from the Raj it has Always been fantastic. Great service to order by Phone, delivery is always on time and the food is always piping hot. Best Indian restaurant in town!!!!

Every time I’m in Welham Green, I always stop by for a sausage, bacon, and mushroom bap with a hot chocolate. The food’s always spot on, and the staff are really friendly. It can get pretty busy at times, but the queue moves quickly and it’s definitely worth the wait. Love this place!

What a little gem of a cafe. Only been there a few times and it's fantastic. The food is really nice and you don't wait long for it. Reasonable price too. £21.00 for 2 nice breakfasts and a tea and coffee. Will be going there for the forseeable future. Thank you Errols.

University of Hertfordshire - de Havilland Restaurant

This is a university campus restaurant serving an eclectic range of top quality student focussed food. Don't expect Michelin stars but do expect wholesome nourishment far better than beans on toast. Open to Uni students and staff during the academic year.

Lotus Fish Bar

I stopped by after closing time because I was in the mood for a small cod and chips to enjoy during my walk. Even though they were about to close, the staff went out of their way to cook a small cod for me, accompanied by wonderfully fluffy chips that had a slightly crunchy exterior. I really enjoyed it! The lady serving was also very friendly.

The prices are great compared to other fish and chip shops in the area, and the shop is clean, including the kitchen.

I don't understand the negative, possibly racist reviews that others have mentioned. If your meal isn't up to par, I encourage you to let them know—I'm sure they would be willing to help if there was a mistake. It seems like some people are determined to be critics, which makes running a business even more challenging. It's quite sad. Maybe they should go to McDonald's.

The Pearl Fish Bar

Family run for 26 years. Lovely staff who are happy and friendly. Even a few chips while we waited a few minutes for a fresh batch of chips to be ready. Wonderful.

Rice Time

Rice Time is my favourite Chinese takeaway in Hertfordshire. Hardly any Chinese takeaways cater for coeliacs but I’ve had a range of options from Rice Time. Fion and Steven are always friendly and welcoming. The prices are very reasonable. Great place.

Incognito African Lounge

I often take my friends to this restaurant with my highest recommendations. I go their often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The dishes they serve are flavorable and the stuff is efficient and cooperative. always when we eat in this place we have a pleasing time. highly recommended.

Maz’s Cafe & Restaurant

Always come here for lunch when I am visiting with my granddaughter. Love the spaghetti bolognaise and the chicken curry. Banana milkshake to die for lol. Staff are friendly, efficient. There is always a nice and friendly atmosphere whatever time we go. My granddaughter enjoys it here and we both enjoy our time together here. Food is fresh and ample portion sizes.

Went here after Slam Dunk festival. They weren't too busy, we got seats and they put music on for us. They were working really hard behind the bar, couldn't have asked for more.

Harpsfield Hall - JD Wetherspoon

I went to see a friend I hadn't seen for a long time. There is loads of parking - first 90 minutes are free and if you stay longer then you have to pay extra. It's very deceptive from outside but inside is massive. We ordered our drinks and some food. I am vegetarian but my friends loved their chicken wings/nuggets and I ordered chips and on the whole food was good. Afterwards we ordered more food incl. garlic bread!! It was sprinkled with garlic powder!!! which is not really what it said on the tin. Very disappointing but overall the atmosphere was very good and the staff were very friendly. Service was very efficient and quick. Hatfield is about 40 miles from where I am in East London. But I will be going there a lot from now on. A must visit place for a drink and some food.

This is hands down the best kebab shop I’ve ever been to! The meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection – juicy, tender, and full of flavour. The fresh salad, warm fluffy naan, and generous portions made every bite amazing. Staff were super friendly, service was fast, and the place was spotless. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or a full meal, this place never disappoints. Highly recommend! Me and my daughter Dilara loved it.

This is my local subway.Located on College Lane campus near Hutton Hub. You can't miss it as it is right opposite the bus stops.Subway is one of the favourite fast food restaurants for students, staff and visitors.I love Subway not onlynbecause of their meals but because it employs students as part of its community engagements.The menu offers a variety of sandwiches or baguette-wiches and drinks ?Lovely ambiance.

KFC Hatfield - Comet Way

Food was good, warm and tasty, not greasy. Service was slow. Hardly anyone in the place put still had to wait 15 minutes for chicken that I could see was I the cabinet. They give priority to delivroo drivers over shop customers.
