Great pub full of locals always willing to have a chat. Food has gone up a few notches and is excellent quality. Staff are second to none, always welcoming and willing to please. Highly recommended and well worth a visit.
Top quality carvery and restaurant/pub, not too crowded, just right. Food and service are excellent, very impressed. Nice unspoilt traditional country pub not far from Potters Bar and Barnet. The Abbott ale was fresh and smooth. Food is reasonably priced for what you get. Staff very friendly and professional. They cater for vegetarians and vegans too. Highly recommend this place. A cosy quaint pub on a Saturday afternoon.The 2 ladies working the restaurant were absolutely wonderfully attentive, but equally gave us the time to decide what we wanted to order and checked back with us several times to ensure we were OK. 5star customer service.
