I’ll be totally honest here and say the previous negative reviews almost made us rethink our booking, but I am so glad we decided to try this pub for ourselves rather than rely on the few because we had a fabulous lunch. Consistently great fun, lovely atmosphere with really friendly, knowledgable staff and super food, with a regularly-changing and predominantly-British menu from a flexible and imaginative chef. Not sure what is wrong with the other reviews as we had nothing but exceptional service and amazing food when we booked a table on a Friday night in December. Although for some reason the website only allowed us to book the outdoor seats the staff did everything they could to get us a table indoors.
