I love this pub. It's a half hour drive from home but worth it. Being a Chef and Brewer we can use our Tesco vouchers towards the bill, which always helps if there's a lot of you. The venue is gorgeous, lovely sunny terrace with views in the summer and warm, cosy wood fires in the winter. The service was a bit slow in the summer but it was really busy. We had breakfast there on Saturday and we were the only ones there for the first half an hour. Food and service were fantastic....read full review

Excellent meal enjoyed by 7 of us.Pork belly delicious and tender.Steak and ale pie was very tasty as was the lasagne and chicken curry. Grilled fish was wonderful too.Service and atmosphere excellent a very pleasant get together with friends.Thank you Green Man.

Was served today by chole very polite ,very helpful,very professional in her duties as a waitress. Food was excellent generous portions always leave satisfied. Highly recommend this restaurant.
