Booked as attending wedding along road. Telephoned to book as explained 1 member of party in wheelchair and 1 with walking difficulties so needed ground floor rooms with accessible shower. At no time did they state rooms not in pub but in old outside building. On arrival very shocked as totally unsuitable for our parties - there were 3 very old steep stone steps with no support rails to get down into rooms. I encourage others to do their own research before they travel. This my opinion Luton & Steveange are both ** censured ** ... The country side between those towns and to the north are great for walking and with good pubs .. The Red Lion, Great Offley is a good place to rest during a walk .. Stopped with my wife on the off chance that the restaurant was open on a Monday. Enjoyed a very generous and tasty starter and main course. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Will definitely be back again.
